What You’ll Do

• Crunch the Numbers: Review financial data and calculate qualified research expenses (QREs) to support R&D tax credit claims.
• Turn Data into Dollars: Translate research and project details into accurate credit calculations.
• Collaborate with Experts: Partner with CPAs, clients, and tax professionals to make sure every credit is accurate and audit-ready.
• Keep It Organized: Prepare clear reports, schedules, and supporting documents that make the process easy to understand.
• Stay Prepared: Document your work carefully to ensure every claim can stand up to an audit.

What We’re Looking For

• Number Friendly: Comfortable working with Excel and financial data.
• Detail Driven: You catch errors others might miss and enjoy solving puzzles in the numbers.
• Team Player: You can talk numbers with accountants and explain results in plain English to clients.
• Experience: 2+ years in tax prep, bookkeeping, accounting, or related roles is ideal — but strong aptitude and willingness to learn go a long way too.
• Must be an expert in Excel
