Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager has the primary responsibility to monitor the performance of all supply chain management services in an assigned company to ensure that product delivery is uninterrupted and that financial targets are met, and that Enterprise Policy compliance is achieved. This includes supply chain functions such as procurement, sourcing operations, value analysis, supply/demand planning, logistics, inventory control, warehouse and supplier management. The goal of Supply Chain is to identify opportunities for process improvements, while improving delivery to enhance operating margins.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage the complete material control process including materials management and flow, production/inventory control, and transportation logistics within the assigned region.
  • Develop and implement daily activities of the local supply chain team; taking into consideration short-term production requirements and long-term inventory objectives.
  • Assist local teams in driving and delivering competitive advantage and cost savings for region through the execution of Long-Term Supply Chain Strategies

  • Product Rationalization
  • Supply Chain Diversification
  • Lead S&OP process at local level to manage the regions’ operational inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels for immediate production items and forecasting for future requirements.
  • Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective key performance management.
  • Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development.
  • The leadership of material life cycle management and obsolescence. Establishes plans to meet corporate goals around material obsolescence.
  • Support analytical insights for assigned region to improve company competitiveness and supply chain efficiency.
  • Foster a safety culture and the implementation of product and supplier compliance policies and training in compliance with policy. Assist in monitoring supplier performance and improvement programs to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Experience with international purchasing with China (preferred), in particular, both in country and from the office, of raw materials and finished products.

Educational/Knowledge Preference

  • Minimum 6 years relevant Supply Chain Management experience in manufacturing, logistics, or planning/scheduling
  • Proven skills in relationship management, financial / business management, program management and people management
  • Demonstrated capability to deal with various Supply Chain topics and high workload
  • Participated effectively in complex supply chain projects, able to work cross-functionally, contributed to improving processes and performance, good oral and written communication
  • Adapting to Change -Readily adapts to change and motivates team to take responsibility for adapting to and executing change
  • Strong analytical and technical ability to problem solve
  • Planned and organized decision making makes empowered decision within their area with the best interest of the company in mind
  • Advises, assists, mentors, and provides feedback to others to encourage and inspire the development of work-related competencies and long-term career growth

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Scheduling flexibility required to accommodate to workload.
