About the Role:
As a Senior Sales Engineer in the Southwest US Territory, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales of our aftermarket mining product line. Join the leading brand in the cement and mining industries and be part of our mission to enable customers to produce materials for a better future.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Arrange sales calls, meet customers, and sell aftermarket parts, rebuilds, modernizations, and services, building strong relationships known for excellent service.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share, creating value propositions and ROI to distinguish our products.
Technical Assistance: Provide pre and post-sales technical assistance and product education, ensuring customers receive comprehensive support.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to maximize sales potential, draft proposals, and visit installation sites to consult with customers.
Account Management: Maintain comprehensive account plans for key accounts and manage expenses within defined budget guidelines.
CRM Management: Ensure accurate and updated entries in CRM applications regarding contacts, appointments, and opportunities.
Requirements:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of mining industry sales experience.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of industry equipment, ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and parts lists.
Communication Skills: Proactive nature with excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively (70% of the time) primarily within Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and California.
Location: Ideal residential location in AZ, NM, CO, or CA.
