Product Specialist

The Product Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance to customers, service centers, and Regional Sales Managers in maintenance, repairs, inspections, warranty analysis, and overhauling of Comminution equipment and related systems.  They should be able to strongly communicate with the ability to understand our client’s needs and coordinate the appropriate solution.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer and representative training in rebuild, startup, and maintenance procedures including recommendations for spare parts.
Manage projects and exercise the functional authority for designated projects to ensure that the goals and objectives of the project are accomplished and assume the role as the main focal contact for the Service Operations.
Provide technical support to engineering, sales, customers, customer service, purchasing, manufacturing, etc.
Inspect and evaluate failures of the equipment by inspecting failed parts, reading wear patterns, and determining corrective actions as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Associate degree
3-5 years of experience working with pump systems and related equipment, such as cyclones, valves, etc.
Mechanical seal or hydraulic fundamental experience
OSHA Safety Certification and MSHA 48 Above & Below Ground Safety Training Certification. (If not current, must be able to obtain certifications upon hire).
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% including overnights and Canada
Location: Must live or be willing to relocate to Northern Minnesota.
Remote/Hybrid role: On the days that are not required to be on-site or in the field, candidate will be able to work from an in-home office.
