Step into a pivotal role as a Maintenance Foreman in a mine near Cedar City, Utah, where your leadership and industrial maintenance expertise will drive the success of our mining operations. As the Maintenance Foreman, you’ll lead and mentor a dedicated team of maintenance technicians and mechanics, ensuring that all plant equipment, from crushers to flotation cells, operates smoothly. Your day-to-day involves planning and coordinating maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.

In addition to hands-on leadership, you’ll play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Your eye for detail will be essential in managing spare parts inventory and staying within budgetary constraints, while your strategic mindset will drive continuous improvement in our maintenance processes.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Proven experience in a mining environment, particularly with sulfide and oxide copper processing circuits.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • An associate’s degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in areas such as welding, electrical work, or HVAC systems are advantageous.
  • Over five years of supervisory experience in a related field/industry.
