Jr. System Administrator

Location: Salt Lake City, UT


Client is currently looking for a Jr. System Administrator who will assist in maintaining and optimizing the current environment, provide helpdesk support in a shared team environment and provide excellent customer service to enterprise employees, and assist on technology projects.

The Jr. System Administrator is the primary resource for the IT ticket system, Windows/OS desktop and laptop support, and VOIP phone system maintenance. This position is responsible for performing endpoint system maintenance including OS and application installs, OS update maintenance, OneDrive setup and troubleshooting, and ensuring the availability of endpoint computer systems. In addition, this position is involved with computer security-related and other technology related projects, and endpoint and other business hardware procurement.

You will work with the entire client IT Group to provide world class desktop and application support for end users. You will troubleshoot multiple computer platforms (Windows, MacOS, and Smartphone). You will support multiple administrative and endpoint related applications and users who work from an office, home, or while traveling.

The Jr. System Administrator will be working with internal employees and would be able to provide technical Support and develop customer relationships with all employees. The Jr. System Administrator will need to work independently when given a problem, analyze the root cause, communicate the best approach to resolve the issues. Documenting the above for the team is required.

Job Responsibilities:

§  Prioritizing, assigning, and managing help desk tickets in a ticket management system

§  Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers and other related devices including PCs, mobile devices and network appliances like routers and switches.

§  User and computer management within Active Directory, Office 365, Citrix console, Azure, SharePoint, and Windows 10

§  Endpoint management using MDT, Intune, and Bomgar remote support tools

§  Asset management for 200+ users

§  Manage network printers

§  Provided offsite maintenances for 13 sites across the U.S. including APC battery replacement and network room maintenance or cleanup.

§  Data Management for Daily and Month End reporting within Profit 21

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

§  Administering endpoint systems on Windows 10

§  Configuring and Troubleshooting Windows Server 2012R2+ Active Directory Domain Services

§  Planning and Managing Windows 10 endpoint deployments and environments, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit experience a plus

§  Hardware solution provider for Dell Endpoints

§  Familiar with IT ticketing systems, ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus experience is a plus.

§  Software solution provider for Office 365, Adobe pro, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SolidWorks, AutoCAD
