HR Manager
Location: West Valley City
Reports To: Chief People Officer
The HR Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a positive organizational culture by overseeing compensation and benefits, payroll administration, and employee relations. This position is responsible for managing and enhancing HR practices to align with organizational goals and ensure employee satisfaction and compliance. The HR Manager will drive initiatives related to compensation strategy, benefits administration, and addressing employee concerns to support a productive and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Compensation and Benefits: Develop, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees. Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation practices. Administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other perks. Oversee the annual compensation review process and manage salary adjustments. Ensure compliance with all relevant compensation regulations and reporting requirements.
Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timely distribution of employee salaries. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries. Ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations. Manage payroll records and reporting, including tax filings and audits.
Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts. Implement and manage employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs to boost morale and productivity. Conduct investigations into employee complaints and disciplinary issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling. Manage exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify and address areas for improvement.
Recruitment and Staffing: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support organizational needs. Oversee the entire recruitment process, including job postings, candidate interviews, and selection. Manage onboarding and orientation programs to integrate new employees effectively.
Performance Management: Guide managers and employees on performance management processes and best practices. Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Compliance and Policies: Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Develop, review, and enforce HR policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices are compliant and effective.
Employee Engagement, Communications, and Training: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Manage internal communication channels to ensure clear and consistent messaging. Provide training and development opportunities to support employee growth and career advancement.
Qualifications:
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
· 7+ years of experience in human resources, with a strong focus on compensation and benefits, payroll administration, and employee relations.
· At least 2 years in a managerial role.
· Must have experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
· Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite .
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
Highly desired but not required:
· Knowledge of Paycom HRIS
