Electrical Engineer/Project Manager
Location: Southern Utah
Electrical Engineer/Project Manager with design as well as Client Relationship experience. We’re on the lookout for someone who knows their stuff when it comes to designing and evaluating power distribution models. Must have both switchgear experience and client experience and be able to represent this company to their clients
You’ll be designing and tracking projects from start to finish based on customer specifications. You’ll also be evaluating the work of your team members and troubleshooting any design hiccups that pop up along the way. Also must be able to communicate with customers to accommodate any design adjustments, keeping them in the loop about manufacturing changes and deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
· Designing and tracking projects from customer specs to finished builds.
· Checking out your team’s work and fixing any design issues that come up.
· Coordinating with the production team to make sure everything is going smoothly.
· Talking to clients to adjust designs, communicate manufacturing changes, and keep them in the loop.
· Giving updates on job status and changes in those weekly production meetings.
· Getting drawings, bill of materials, and wiring diagrams approved by customers.
· Dealing with any exceptions that arise with materials.
Requirements:
· We’re looking for at least 3-5 years of BS/EE with Power design experience specific to manufacturing, Must have both switchgear experience and client facing experience
· BS/Electrical Engineering with a focus on the Power Discipline required.
· Strong AutoCAD required; also experience with Excel, databases, and other software applications.
· Communication skills, both written and verbal, need to be top-notch for smooth client interactions.
· Being detail-oriented is key, with a keen eye for accuracy and precision.
· Since will deal with time-sensitive data, will need to handle deadlines like a pro.
Qualifications
· At least 3-5 years of design experience specific to manufacturing, Must have both switchgear experience and client experience
· BS/Electrical Engineering with a focus on the Power Discipline required.
· Relocation (paid) to southern Utah – no remote
