The Discovery Team Lead plays a key role in overseeing the substantiation process for Research & Development (R&D) tax credits. This leadership position requires a professional who can balance precision with proactive initiative, simplify complex regulations into clear processes, and consistently drive projects to completion. You will manage a team of researchers and technical writers, streamline workflows, and ensure client deliverables meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Discovery Team by setting priorities, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability.
- Translate complex R&D tax credit requirements into clear, actionable guidance for team members.
- Optimize operational workflows to balance research demands with client deliverable timelines.
- Ensure all outputs are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time.
- Monitor project status, identify potential risks, and escalate resource needs to executive leadership as necessary.
- Foster collaboration and maintain momentum across multiple engagements.
