Data Engineer/Business Intelligence Engineer

As a Data Engineer/ Business intelligence engineer, Collect and maintain the set of business
reporting requirements. Design, code, test, and aggregate results from SQL queries to provide
information to users. We’ll count on your detail-oriented and organizational talents as you work
both independently as well as part of a team. This position is for a highly motivated and
self-directed individual who can take ownership of this process.
Job Responsibilities
– Function as our client’s in-house expert to help design stable, scalable Application
– Develop new applications and services, including database design either individually
– Identify potential improvements to the current design/processes.
– As a business intelligence data analyst, you will determine requirements for reporting and analytical needs of the business.
– Develop reports, dashboards, cubes and other information tools as needed.
– Perform tasks such as data mapping, data validation, code reviews and documentation.
– Produce Daily reports as requested by Business
Job Requirements
● 3+ years of data visualization using Tableau 2020 or higher or other BI tools like Looker.
● Strong SQL skills and database programming skills including creating views, stored procedures, triggers, implementing referential integrity, as well as designing and coding for
performance.
● Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) CloudSQL, Spanner, Big Query and other GCP data related data services.
● Good understanding of Normalization /Denormalization and database design methodology
● Experience in Error handling and debugging coding issues and troubleshooting production
● Knowledge and hands-on experience of RDBMS systems (e.g.:Oracle & PostgreSQL)
● Good communication and Organization skills , discipline, detail-orientation, self-motivation, problems and focused on delivery.
● Be interested and enthusiastic about technology and finance, have the desire to learn
● Expert in A|B test design
● Experience in data management, analytics, data science and reporting
● Highly independent and able to manage relationships with stakeholders
● Excellent presentation skills with strong data visualization and data storytelling
