CRA Officer
Location: Pleasant Grove, UT
The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer will manage all aspects of the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act compliance. The incumbent will create, deploy, and manage systems and controls in accordance with state and federal banking compliance regulations, as applicable.
Responsibilities-
Development, Implementation, & Administration: Oversee all aspects of the Community Reinvestment Act compliance for the Bank.
Exams & Audits: Coordinate and assist in the administration of independent, state, and federal CRA examinations, reviews, and audits.
Monitoring & Tracking: Perform regular testing and monitoring, identifying, and tracking CRA-related information.
Quality Control: Oversee and perform quality control reviews and monitoring of the Bank’s CRA program information.
Communication & Presentation: Communicate complex information to employees, management, and regulators. Present training materials, recommendations, and initiatives, as requested.
Reporting & Responding: Prepare and compile reports as scheduled or upon request from management. Respond to audits, regulatory examinations, and inquiries.
Recommendations & Guidance: Advise and provide guidance to employees, the management team, and other stakeholders on CRA compliance.
Projects & Other Job Duties: Ad hoc projects and other job duties, as assigned.
Specifications-
Subject Matter Expert on Community Reinvestment Act requirements and regulations.
Three to five years of experience in managing CRA requirements and communicating required changes and revisions to rules and regulations.
Experience with managing the CRA Compliance Examination process and proactively engaging with regulators.
Ability to use sound judgment and make critical decisions regarding CRA compliance with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to write and revise policies and procedures for new and emerging regulatory developments and concerns.
Ability to present complex information in an understandable and relatable manner when presenting to employees, Bank management, and regulators.
CRCM Certification preferred but not required.
