Administrative Assistant – Engineering Consulting Firm

Location: Sandy, Utah

Schedule: Full-time, Onsite

Start Date: Immediate (preferred start before end of week for training overlap)

We are a well-established engineering consulting firm seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our President and serve as a key point of contact for clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and a high level of proficiency with WordPerfect – a critical requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft professional correspondence and forms using WordPerfect for clients and internal use
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients regarding insurance and certification documentation
  • Provide daily administrative support to the company President, including:
    • Drafting and sending emails
    • Managing and scheduling calendar appointments
    • Ordering office supplies and handling other office management duties as needed
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling
  • Use Adobe tools for reviewing and preparing documents

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in WordPerfect is required (90% of tasks involve this program)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
  • Prior administrative or office assistant experience, ideally supporting executive-level staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with clients confidently
