IT Applications Lead

Department: Information Technology

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

FLSA Classification: Salaried, Exempt

• Provide strategic and tactical guidance with respect Applications Development, EDI Processing, and Business Intelligence implementation and sustainment practices within the organization.
• Provide troubleshooting, problem solving, and applications support to client Operations team.
• Design, develop and/or maintain multiple moderately complex applications, programs, application functions, databases, or application / user interfaces.
• Establish, maintain, and enforce data model design principles, techniques, standards, and best practices.
• Analyze requirements package and architect a data architecture/integration solution that is flexible, highly performing, scalable and correctly manages business data/information.
• Participate as key member of metadata, data governance design, implementation, and maintenance activities.

Experience

• Solid SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and DAX experience.
• Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, XML, UNIX, Microsoft SQL Server.
• Progressive experience in data analysis and architecture.
• Solid knowledge of BI and visualization methods and technologies.
• Working knowledge of relational database platforms (SQL Server, DB2, Teradata).
• Understanding of SQL programming and common query optimization techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of software, documentation, utilities, and program scripts.
• Ability to work on multiple technology layers simultaneously (UI, API, Service, Data).
• Strong team, interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with others (technical, business, and management).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study.
• Six years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications.
