Human Resources Manager
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
The Human Resources Manager holds a crucial position in overseeing the core functions of human resources, aligning them with company policies, procedures, and pertinent collective bargaining agreements for applicable sites. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive Human Resources support to all locations, while fostering a positive onsite work environment.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between the Company and the Union, managing interactions with bargaining unit employees and facilitating grievance procedures under the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Represent the Company in hearings, arbitrations, and contract negotiations.
Recommend and execute employee relations practices aimed at fostering a positive employer-employee relationship and cultivating strong employee morale. This includes providing guidance on employee relations matters, supporting leaders in delivering constructive feedback through written and verbal communication on performance, quality expectations, and safety practices (including advising on progressive discipline).
Contribute to talent development initiatives in alignment with broader HR strategies, including leading Talent Development and Succession Planning (TDSP) sessions with managers.
Lead teams through organizational restructuring endeavors, encompassing resource needs, change management efforts, and cultural transformations.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR related field
5+ years of relative HR experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of supervisory/management experience
Experience in a unionized environment and in dealing with the grievance process, CBA interpretation and contract negotiations.
