Cost Accounting Manager

The Cost Accounting Manager role involves overseeing the accounting of product costs within the cost of sales and inventory. This includes coordinating the upkeep of standard cost data and managing all manufacturing variations, scrap, and rework costs in alignment with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance of cost information, including training personnel across Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations.
• Drive accurate cost reporting for product lines using the ERP system, encompassing sales, margins, and variances.
• Oversee manufacturing cost accountability, incorporating scrap, rework, returns, and internal cost control measures.
• Ensure seamless reconciliation of inventory dollars and physical inventories, maintaining accuracy across locations.
• Prioritize safety as a core value by demonstrating a 100% commitment to our zero-harm behaviors, contributing to a world-class safety culture.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or a combination of education and relevant experience demonstrating the ability to fulfill the above objectives.
• 2+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• 3+ years of advancing expertise in financial accounting within a publicly listed company, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
